Stayed for a night, room was well priced & included parking! Location stunning. The girl who served us tonight was lovely and knowledgeable on allergies. Great vibes for a drink. We had lunch and then pizza for dinner, was all good, slightly above average. Would stay here again.
Called in just for a coffee but ended up having some chips. They were delicious. Was quiet aswell which is unusual as in summer it's gets busy because it backs on to river and has lovely garden .

Went for breakfast this morning for the first time since it reopened yesterday. What a different pub to how it used to be - so much warmer, calmer and welcoming. Really well fitted out and feels like a proper Cotswold pub. Breakfast was great with really good ingredients (especially the sausages) and the service was lovely too. Would recommend you revisit and support this local pub. Well done to the owners
Ahhh the Arkrlls is much better than when I left the area 10 years ago... loved this pub out of peak when I lived there, came back while passing for old times sake and made a b line. Didn't dissappear, glad I did
Nice place to have a drink and something to eat. Gluten free options. Pay for car park which sucks. Had some loaded nachos with pulled pork. But they forgot the pork. When it came it was good tho and pretty quick service. Lovely place sit an watch the world.
I did not stay in the rooms but experienced a saturday lunch there. A good selection of beers available if interested. Cozy vibes, quick service and good food. Oh and also what a cracking location!
We stayed in the Superior Double room, which was spacious and beautifully furnished with trendy décor. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, adding to the comfort of our stay. Free parking was a great bonus! Breakfast was excellent – a hearty vegetarian English breakfast that was fresh and flavorful. The staff were efficient and friendly, making the entire check-in process quick and hassle-free. The location is fantastic, and the pub itself is stunning with a charming atmosphere. I can imagine it being lively and packed during the summer months. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay and great experience! The other Twin Room needed a bit of TLC and upgrade.
